Lady Emily Again Has Faux Pas Moment

Today Lady Emily had another faux pas moment.  Sir Edmund warned Lady Emily not to venture outside Kensington Palace as security was extremely tight due to the large crowds gathered outside wishing to get a glimpse of the Queen’s introduction to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s newborn son.  However, Lady Emily could not resist another shopping spree at Harrod’s and left the palace against Sir Edmund’s explicit orders.  When Lady Emily returned to Kensington Palace, she was denied access to the palace grounds.  Seeing Sir Edmund from a distance, Lady Emily made a dash through the crowd, jumping over a railing at the precise moment when the Duchess of Cambridge came into her path (see below pic).  Security rushed quickly to protect the Duchess.  An embarrassed Sir Edmund could only roll his eyes and assured security, “It’s all right.  That upstart northerner is with me.”
For the first time in more than a century, a reigning monarch met a great-grandchild born in direct succession to the crown when the Queen was introduced to Baby Cambridge on Wednesday.
She made the short journey from Buckingham Palace to Kensington Palace, where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their son had spent their first night at home as a new family.
After the Queen’s visit, the duke, duchess and infant prince left Kensington Palace for Bucklebury, Berkshire, where the Middletons have a manor house.
